Here's my version. Hattie was my grandma. She was a quilter and a really good baker. I stitched a butterfly instead of a bird so I guess that eliminates me but it was a fun stitch. I will frame it and give it to my Mom. I know she misses her mother everyday. I used cream 35 ct. linen from Vicki Clayton and Needlepoint silk in the Chinese red range. Good luck everyone.
