I finished stitching "It's Berry Time" this week. Now I'm hoping to finish the cute strawberry pincushion this weekend - wish me luck :-)

Over the weekend I finished up the LF Mystery Sampler that I started last month. As with all the BBD it was a pleasure to stitch. Here is a snap -


This is stitched this on 32ct LL Vintage Sand Dune using mostly the recommended floss'.

My current Blackbirds

After 3 days of constant rain we had a reprieve today, the sun finally made an appearance. I was able to take some pictures of my BBD WIPs after I got home this afternoon.

First up is Easter Parade. I hope to finish this as a pillow.

Second is Quaker Garden. I am stitching this as a SAL with Quaker Inspired Blog. I am a little behind but, I am happy with my progress so far.

My third piece Where My Heart Blooms is the closest to completion. I am very excited to have made it this far on this one. I can hardly wait to have another finish.

spring fling

Thanks to Sue for the invite to join! I love Blackbird Designs and have stitched so many of their designs :-) I'll share my most recent finish for now and try to post some others in the near future. Really looking forward to seeing every one's beautiful stitching!

stitched on 30 ct. Glen Ellyn blend over two with recommended threads. The fabric is much greener in person, but it works ;-)
